The Galveston Community Police Foundation (GCPF) strives to assist the Galveston Police Department recruit, retain, and train officers and enhance safety by encouraging community involvement and support in making Galveston a safer city for its visitors and residents.
The GCPF was formed by community members and business leaders to support projects of the Galveston Police Department (GPD). Donations made by individuals and companies, including Membership fees will fund programs including recruiting expenses, moving expenses, short term housing, assistance with jobs for spouses, advanced training, recognition awards, appreciation days and the like.
The GCPF is a sub-chapter of the Galveston Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (https://www.galvestoncpaaa.com/) which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. Donations are tax deductible minus the fair market value of any benefits.

Corporate Annual Membership – $2500

Corporate members will receive two window decals recognizing their support as a Corporate Member.
Corporate Lifetime Membership – $25,000
Members linked on website.
Corporate members will receive three window decals recognizing their support as a Lifetime Member.
Founding Bronze Membership – $25,000
Founding members recognized by level on the front page of the GCPF website.
Founding members will receive three vehicle decals recognizing their support as a Founding Member.
Founding Silver Membership – $50,000
Founding members recognized by level on the front page of the GCPF website.
